What makes Upgrade Health different from other supplement brands?

Are your products FDA approved?
Dietary supplements are not FDA approved — that applies to every supplement brand on the market, not just ours. What matters is the manufacturing standard. Our products are made in an FDA-registered, cGMP-certified facility operating under 21 CFR Part 111, the same regulatory framework required for pharmaceutical manufacturing. That's the meaningful distinction, not FDA approval (which doesn't exist for supplements).
Do your products contain any allergens, fillers, or artificial ingredients?
All Upgrade Health formulas are free from gluten, dairy, soy, artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, titanium dioxide, and magnesium stearate. We do not use proprietary blends. Every excipient — the inactive ingredients used in capsule manufacturing — is listed on the supplement facts panel. If it's in the capsule, it's on the label. Are your products vegan and non-GMO?
All current formulas use plant-based cellulose capsules and are suitable for vegans. All key actives are sourced from non-GMO verified suppliers. The one exception is our GutShield Pro, which contains a collagen-derived peptide fraction — that product is clearly marked as non-vegan on the product page.
Can I take multiple Upgrade Health products together?
Yes — our protocols are designed to stack without overlapping key actives at levels that would cause concern. For example, Immortalis and Neural Stack share no major overlapping ingredients. That said, if you're taking prescription medications or managing a specific condition, we always recommend reviewing your full supplement list with a qualified clinician. Dosing & Protocols
How long before I see results?
It depends on the product and the outcome you're tracking. Subjective markers — energy, sleep quality, mental clarity — often shift within 2–4 weeks. Objective biomarkers — NAD+ levels, inflammatory markers, HRV — typically require 8–12 weeks of consistent use before a meaningful delta shows on bloodwork. We recommend a minimum 90-day commitment and, where possible, getting baseline bloodwork before you start so you have something to compare against.
Should I take my supplements with food?
For most of our products, yes — with a meal containing dietary fat. Fat-soluble actives like CoQ10, curcumin, and phosphatidylserine require bile acid secretion for absorption, which food intake triggers. NMN and water-soluble B-vitamins can be taken fasted without significant loss. Each product page includes a specific dosing note with the recommended timing and food context based on the pharmacokinetics of that formula.
What is "Protocol FAQ" and how is it different from this FAQ?
The Protocol FAQ (linked in our Support menu) goes deeper into clinical questions — things like timing interactions between stacks, cycling strategies for specific ingredients, and how to read your bloodwork in the context of a protocol. Do I need to cycle off any of your products?
Most Upgrade Health formulas are designed for continuous daily use — the clinical studies we reference used continuous supplementation over 8–24 weeks. However, certain adaptogens (ashwagandha, rhodiola) may benefit from periodic breaks of 2–4 weeks after 3–4 months of continuous use, based on some practitioner protocols. This isn't a hard rule — it's a common practice in integrative medicine. The Protocol FAQ has a dedicated section on cycling for each product category.
Can I take Upgrade Health products if I'm on prescription medication?
We cannot give individual medical advice. What we can do is provide your healthcare provider with our full ingredient documentation, COAs, and dosing rationale so they can make an informed decision. Email clinical@upgradehealth.com with your provider's details and the specific products you're interested in. Known interactions to flag: berberine + metformin (additive glucose-lowering), high-dose fish oil + blood thinners, and ashwagandha + thyroid medication — these are the most commonly relevant interactions in our product range.
Testing & Quality
How do I access my product's Certificate of Analysis?
Every bottle has a QR code on the bottom label that links directly to the COA for that specific production batch. You can also enter your lot number (printed beside the expiration date) on our website. COAs from every batch we've ever produced are permanently archived and publicly accessible. We don't require a login to view them.
What does "HPLC verified" mean and why does it matter?
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is the gold standard for verifying ingredient identity and concentration in supplements. It separates the compounds in a sample and measures their exact quantities against a certified reference standard. This matters because label fraud in the supplement industry is widespread — studies have found that a significant percentage of supplements contain less than the stated amount or substituted ingredients. HPLC testing by an independent lab is the only reliable way to verify what's actually in the capsule.
Is your manufacturing facility GMP certified?
Yes. Our products are manufactured in an FDA-registered facility operating under cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) per 21 CFR Part 111. The facility holds NSF International certification and undergoes regular third-party audits. This means every aspect of production — from raw material receipt to finished goods release — follows a documented quality management system with full traceability.
Do you test for heavy metals and contaminants?
Yes — every batch is tested for lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury per USP <232> elemental impurity limits, plus a full microbial panel (total aerobic count, yeast and mold, E. coli, Salmonella, Staph aureus). We also screen for pesticide residues on any botanical raw material. All results are on the COA. If any test fails our spec, the batch is quarantined and not released — no exceptions.

How long does shipping take?
United States: Orders ship within 1 business day and typically arrive in 3–5 business days via USPS or UPS Ground. Expedited options (2-day, overnight) are available at checkout. International: Most orders reach Canada and the UK in 7–12 business days, Europe in 8–14 days, and Australia/New Zealand in 10–16 days. All orders include tracking from dispatch. Free shipping on all US orders over $75.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We currently ship to United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Africa. Duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and vary by country. International orders are shipped via DHL Express or FedEx International to ensure tracking and reliable customs clearance. We're expanding to additional countries — check back if your region isn't listed.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders can be modified or cancelled within 2 hours of placement — after that they enter our fulfillment queue and can't be recalled. Email support@upgradehealth.com immediately with your order number in the subject line and we'll do our best to catch it. If the order has already shipped, our standard return policy applies.
My order arrived damaged or missing items — what do I do?
Email support@upgradehealth.com with a photo of the packaging and contents. We'll reship the missing or damaged items at no cost within 1 business day. We don't ask you to return damaged goods — that's a waste of your time and ours. If the outer packaging looks intact but product is damaged, that's a manufacturing defect and falls under our replacement policy regardless of when it's discovered.

What's the benefit of subscribing vs. buying once?

How do I pause, skip, or cancel my subscription?
Everything is managed from your account portal — no phone calls, no retention flows, no "are you sure?" loops. Log in, go to Subscriptions, and you can pause for up to 3 months, skip a single order, change the delivery frequency, swap a product, or cancel entirely with one click. If you cancel within your first 60 days and the product didn't work, our money-back guarantee applies to your entire order history — subscribe or not.
Can I change which products are in my subscription?
Yes — swap products, add products, or remove products any time through your account portal. Changes made more than 24 hours before your next charge date take effect on the upcoming order. Changes made within 24 hours of the charge apply to the order after that. There's no fee or penalty for changing your subscription.

What is your 60-day guarantee exactly?
If you've used the product consistently for at least 30 days and don't feel it's working, email us within 60 days of your purchase date and we'll refund you in full — no return required, no questions asked. We don't ask you to prove anything or fill out a survey. The only condition is that you actually used it: we're not a loophole for free supplements. One return per customer per product per 12 months. The guarantee applies to subscriptions too — the 60-day window resets with your first order.
What if I don't see any results?
First: get baseline bloodwork before you start and retest at 90 days. Many of the outcomes our products target — NAD+ levels, inflammatory markers, HRV — aren't things you feel directly. They show in data before they show in subjective experience. If you've done that and the numbers haven't moved, email our clinical support team at clinical@upgradehealth.com — we'll review your protocol, timing, and any potential confounders. If we can't identify a fixable reason, we'll refund you.
Are the customer results on your site real?
Yes — and we hold them to a higher standard than most brands do. Results featured on our Customer Results page are sourced from members who provided written consent, protocol details, and where possible, supporting documentation (bloodwork uploads, wearable data exports, clinician notes). We don't manufacture testimonials or use paid endorsements without clear disclosure. We mark the data source (self-reported vs. verified) on every result we publish.
Can I submit my own results to be featured?
Yes. Email results@upgradehealth.com with your protocol details, duration, and any supporting data. We review all submissions and reach out if your results meet our publication threshold. We prioritize results with objective supporting data (bloodwork, wearable exports) over self-reported subjective outcomes, though both are considered. You retain full control over what details are published — we share a draft with you before anything goes live.
